Reflecting and a Thank You for 2024

As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to take this time to reflect the year for Jade Research Lab LLC and to say, "thank you" to those who allowed us the opportunity to present research, review performance of institutions so they can better support their learners, faculty, staff, and community.

When it comes to our research, we aim to help share the stories of all while identifying what has been working, areas of opportunity, and how to progress to the next level. We've presented at two conferences highlighting where there is room for improvement in training for faculty and staff when supporting learners, staff, faculty, and communities of diverse backgrounds to provide a more equitable and inclusive environment. For those who want to go in academia, whether as a learner, administrative, or community involvement, please remember every action, every word you say impacts someone and can impact their academic and overall experiences. Please note, this is not limited to academia, but is applicable to various settings, such as a corporate setting.

We plan to expand resources, tools, and more in 2025 to better support the Greater Pittsburgh area in-person and others across the country remotely to contribute to your institution or organization's improvement and success with DEI initiatives so others can bring their true self.
