So here's the thing......

SO.....here's the thing.....I've noticed a "certain" population getting bolder and bolder in public, as well as secure spaces. For example, I'm traveling (this really happened), multiple White people bumped into the seat at an airport bar that i was sitting in but avoided bumping into other White individuals. No "excuse me," no "I'm sorry," literally behaving as if I'm not or haven't been present. Not to mention, I caught a White male, who was also a veteran, taking unauthorized pictures of me (he was sitting behind me and staring at me constantly). Also, no word (from the majority) of the cuts and changes and doing away of diversity, equity, and inclusion (which by the way includes White women [look it up]).
What I'm noticing, and this isn't the case for a lot of individuals who identify as White, is they are getting more rude, more intrusive, more entitled....I don't have time for that, and will correct you if you're in the wrong or invading my space.
However, this criticism applies to the Black population as well, but I'm not for group I identify with confirming the stereotypes. Don't get me wrong, I know quite a few doctors, dentists, professors, etc., but "we" need to do better. Specifically, those who perceive themselves as being less fortunate, going through the "struggle" but find a way to get their hair cut or down, nails done, nice attire, etc. but take advantage of the resources made available to them to be successful.
I understand the "act how they act" but is it worth putting yourself in a negative financial situation? Again, I'm speaking on my experience, such as growing up in Detroit, living in Kalamazoo and Pittsburgh. I've literally entertained someone who was willing to spend hundreds of dollars for an outfit for ONE night, and then asked me if I could send him money because a bill was deducted from his checking. RED FLAG!
With this post, I wanted to bring attention to the BAD behavior on both sides, since now everything is basically White versus non-White. BUT I'm dedicated to researching the experiences of non-Whites and Whites and their experiences (don't try to invalidate my credentials or my degrees [there's multiple and I will humble that ass REAL quick]). Something has to change, and I'm willing to do work...but are you?
Let me know your thoughts and/or experiences.
