You may not be in the field of research, but it can be super helpful with helping you achieve your target goals, big or small.

Research allows us to have a more in-depth understanding of the experiences of whoever is utilizing your product or service, or how your employees experience their time with your institution or company. Not only does it allow us to have more insight into what is working or not working, we get more insight of the experiences of the target group or population. Here's how research can help you.
Why conduct research?
Focusing on the basics, research can provide various insight on your topic and group of focus. For example, this example is applicable in multiple settings, let's say a new service you developed is receiving negative reviews and you want to know why and how to improve. Research allows you the opportunity to ask the users of the product, service, or change in the organization what their experiences are like, positive and negative, so you have a pulse on what your organization
is doing well and needs improvement on from their perceptions. You are able to utilize quantitative, qualitative or a combination of both methodologies to help see trends and themes that you can incorporate into product and process improvement at many levels. Although research can present some negative impacts in what you provide to communities, let's not forget about the positive impacts you can view. These positive impacts can be themes from written responses, interviews, or focus groups, or trends between 2 or more performance indicators you are keeping tracking for your institution.
How can you analyze the data?
Well it depends on what you are interested in, such as the experiences versus a causal relationship or cause-and-effect relationship. You can use data analysis to understand demographics of your target group(s), development and measure performance metrics and trends of your business, institution, or target groups, presents areas of opportunities to develop new resources or tools based on experiences and empirical data, or to tell a story or paint a picture.
By having the proper data collection and analysis resources and tools, you can see a variety of presentations of your data (I.e., geographical, trends, responses). Let us help you get started with collecting and/or analyzing your data.
