Conference Panel Presenter - Black Doctoral Network Annual Conference
Dr. Murray joined many in Atlanta, GA for the Black Doctoral Network's annual national conference in October 2023. She presented research on the overall experiences of African American or Black women who attended a hisotrically White academic institution, a historically Black academic institution, or both. During the presentation, Dr. Murray showed a comparison between the experiences at different institution types, while pointing pros and cons of attending one or the other. Based on the findings and limitations, Dr. Murray spoke on implications that can be utilized to enhance the academic experience for others as they progress through their respected programs.
